The program adheres to the American Association of Orthodontics’ recommendation that children under the age of seven have their teeth examined. At our Victor Orthodontist clinic, we evaluate your child’s orthodontic requirements before or at the age of seven.

In addition to standard checks, the program evaluates the child’s jaw growth, teeth eruption, dental crowding, and airway development.

Our Victor Orthodontic facility in Idaho Falls provides a wide range of treatment options to help people achieve a bright, beautiful, and healthy smile. Our resident doctors, Dr. McCord and Dr. McCoy can prescribe one of the following treatments based on individual needs and preferences:

Braces

Braces are beneficial to patients of all ages. Standard metal braces and ceramic (transparent) braces are available for people who desire something more discreet.

Invisalign

With Invisalign, the patient will need to wear removable plastic aligners that are nearly unnoticeable, which may appeal to people who wish to maintain a natural appearance while having orthodontic treatment.

When you visit our Victor Orthodontic Clinic, our dentists will inform you of all of your dental care options so you may choose the best one for you.

Aesthetic Alignment Options

Invisalign

Plastic aligner therapy requires wearing and changing clear detachable trays every two weeks. The clear plastic trays gently guide the teeth into place. The majority of patients choose the AcceleDent Aura option because it reduces treatment time in half.

Gac MTM Brackets

Patients can have their teeth aligned in an almost invisible manner with the GAC MTM bracket system. The MTM bracket enables quick tooth remodeling, with alignment possible in as little as 8 to 10 months.

Brackets from Clarity Advanced Ceramics

The Clarity advance ceramic brackets are the most advanced aesthetic brackets on the market and give you maximum control over your teeth.

Accelerated Treatment

The AcceleDent Aura technology, a 20-minute-per-day device that achieves orthodontic therapy, is used at our Victor Orthodontic Branch. Clinical studies have demonstrated that it straightens teeth 50% faster than typical methods while also lowering discomfort.

Propel (an FDA-approved medical device) is a device that speeds up tooth mobility and bone remodeling.

TMJ Treatment

Many people suffer from apnea, also known as sleep apnea, caused by a shortage of oxygen in the bloodstream. Jawbones and oral tissues restrict the airway in the vast majority of instances. The treatment option will highly depend on the underlying cause of the issue.

TMJ therapy is the treatment for the temporomandibular joints (TMJs), which link the lower jawbone to the skull. Come to our Victor Orthodontic dental office if you think you have TMD.
